The Category Strategy Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies for multiple verticals under the infrastructure organization. This includes gathering and analyzing requirements, communicating with stakeholders, and understanding client category strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gathering and analyzing requirements for sourcing requests
- Communicating with requestors to close any data gaps
- Understanding client category strategies
- Documenting and maintaining category sourcing instructions, including bid thresholds, RFx templates, supplier lists, and competencies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in Source to Contract
- Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred
- Stakeholder management experience
- Project management experience
- Demonstrated intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Advanced user of Excel and pivot tables or equivalent similar tools
