Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Backend Java Technical Lead to lead the delivery and ongoing support of projects from end to end. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the design of new features, review code, advocate for standard methodologies, facilitate engineering discussions, mentor junior engineers, and participate in an inclusive, energetic, and highly multi-functional team.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver high-quality backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Microservices architecture
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement new features and improve existing ones
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure knowledge sharing within the team
- Advocate for standard methodologies and best practices across the organization
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Over 5 years of software development experience, specializing in Java for backend services
- A deep understanding of persistence strategies, including relational and non-relational databases
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Fluency in both English and Spanish, both written and spoken
- A passion for establishing standard methodologies, elevating systems design, enhancing code quality, and ensuring maintainability
