At TransUnion, we're seeking a skilled Training & Development Specialist to join our Global Fraud Solutions team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for professional growth and development in the field of training and development.

About the Role

This position plays a critical part in creating engaging and effective training programs that enhance knowledge and skills across cross-functional teams. You will collaborate closely with business leaders to identify needs, develop learning objectives, and provide accurate and tailored learning solutions. Your expertise will be essential in anticipating business training needs based on quality assurance findings, trainee comprehension, system updates, and other factors.

Responsibilities

  • You will conduct needs assessments through various channels (surveys, interviews, group sessions, informal discussions) to analyze performance gaps and determine suitable solutions (training or performance support). This will also involve better understanding changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, strategies, and technologies.
  • You will prioritize work effectively while meeting deadlines, ensuring timely completion of assignments and implementation of training plans.
  • You will plan, implement, and evaluate training assignments by developing action/project plans, securing necessary resources, and delivering high-quality results within specified timelines.
  • You will apply instructional design principles to select and design optimal strategies, methodologies, and technologies to maximize learning outcomes.
  • You will lead classes, train participants, facilitate group discussions, activities, brainstorming, and debrief sessions using your presentation and facilitation skills.
  • You will partner with the business to ensure course objectives have a positive impact on skill gaps.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Adult Learning, Finance, or an equivalent field.
  • Three years of direct experience in designing and developing training materials, including online/e-learning modules, instructor-led materials, job aids, multimedia products, and other training materials.
  • Proven ability to leverage data collection, research, and analysis to evaluate project outcomes and improve individual and organizational performance.
  • Experience working with learning management systems and/or content delivery platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and challenges, consult with partners, and develop solutions to address these areas.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, balance thought with action, and optimize limited resources.
  • Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective communication skills in English and local office languages throughout all levels of the organization.
