At Modus Create, we're seeking a skilled Communications Strategist to join our Marketing team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and executing earned media strategies that increase awareness for our brand in the communities that our key personas are in.
This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, and a solid understanding of public relations programs. You'll work closely with members of the Marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that drive results.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in communications, journalism, or a related field, as well as 6+ years of experience in public relations or corporate communications. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
You'll be responsible for:
- Drafting pitches for placement of thought leadership, case studies, white papers, and media summaries
- Leveraging existing relationships to pitch and earn placements for Modus Create
- Evaluating publications, analysts, journalists, and trades against content goals for the company; maintaining a distribution network
