**Job Description**:
We are seeking an entrepreneurial, motivated and self-starting Social Analyst to join our rapidly growing, dedicated Social Media team that creates and executes social media marketing campaigns for several of the world's top brands.
Working with the Social Media Strategist and the Associate Director, the Social Analyst is responsible for helping monitor day-to-day execution of social media campaigns, as well as helping execute larger brand activations and other special campaigns.
Tasks include daily community listening, community engagement/conversation, UGC curation as well as community monitoring and issue escalation/response.
The Social Analyst will be responsible for conducting ongoing research (using a variety of tools) to help identify social media best practices and trends that will inform brand strategies.
The Social Analyst will also provide strategic insights culled from social listening, community management and research that will inform the development of future client campaigns and programs.
- Support brand loyalty and encourage generation of user created content via active community participation and conversation.
- Manage online discussions by listening and responding to users (where appropriate) in a timely and authentic manner.
- Escalate issues and provide high-level synopsis of current community conversations as needed.
- Monitor and track discussion topics for management team; prepare weekly reports to update staff/clients on predetermined metrics.
Proactively monitor brand and relevant themes/news stories as they gain traction across social media and provide suggestions for timely content, assets and relevant conversations within brand communities.
- Work daily with Social Media Strategist and client teams ensure proper messaging is being executed online and that the resulting social conversations are relevant to client goals.
- Work with Social Media Strategist to update editorial calendars and ensure all assets/materials are timely, up to date and approved.
- Use online listening, supplemental research and daily community learnings to provide insights for improving programs, optimizing content and otherwise enhancing the success of all brand social media marketing efforts.
- Research, identify and vet bloggers and other key community influencers for influencer campaigns.
- Research and identify social media best practices and relevant brand examples within the space to help inform creative briefs for program development.
**Qualifications**:
- 3-5+ years of professional work experience at interactive, advertising, public relations or marketing agency preferred, as a guide
- Must have active accounts across key social media sites including, but not limited to, TikTok Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest and LinkedIn
- Possess background knowledge and a true passion for the social media marketing space
- Must have strong verbal and writing/grammatical skills as well as ability to present information and ideas logically and clearly; keen eye for detail also required
