The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of proven experience in Cybersecurity technologies with a focus on SIEM, vulnerability management, firewalls, forensics, data logging, and IAM. Additionally, they should have demonstrable experience in tool integrations, CI/CD, and REST APIs, as well as software development experience with Python, Golang, JavaScript, or similar.
Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with the Splunk Global Security (SGS) teams to improve existing automation and search initiatives.
- Utilize expertise in Splunk to address complex security challenges.
- Develop and refine custom data onboarding scripts and add-ons for internal corporate tools and services.
- Examine internal metrics and workflows to minimize false positives and optimize engineering efforts.
- Create repeatable processes to build playbooks, ensuring efficient incident resolution.
- Provide initial support to internal customers and ensure high playbook availability.
- Implement robust security strategies for Linux-based and AWS-based infrastructure, Python code, and containerized services.
