Key Responsibilities:
- Address customer billing inquiries and provide support as needed with any discrepancies or issues.
- Prepare assigned month-end journal entries and process local vendor invoices for approval.
- Send radiology invoices for MediSpend processing and perform monthly account reconciliations as assigned.
- Analyze customer sales data to support marketing initiatives and place inventory purchase orders.
- Conduct offline screening of customer, vendor, and transaction data and create new service/inventory items in QuickBooks.
- Complete vendor modification forms as needed and verify bank payments.
- Process new customer request forms for intercompany accounts and assist with other duties and projects as required.
Expected Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Initiative to solve problems and create solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Motivated and self-starter willing to meet strict deadlines and time constraints.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
- Understanding of general accounting principles.
Requirements:
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in general accounting functions.
- Experience in A/P and A/R processing is preferred.
- QuickBooks experience or proficiency in other related accounting software is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Fluency in English and Spanish in both written and oral communication.
Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 based on the location in Costa Rica and industry standards.
Location: This role is based in our office site in Costa Rica.
