We are seeking a skilled and experienced Front Desk Manager to join our team at the Costa Rica Marriott Hotel Hacienda Belen. As a key member of our Rooms & Guest Services Operations department, you will be responsible for administering front office functions and supervising staff on a daily basis.
Your primary objective will be to direct and work with managers and employees to carry out procedures ensuring an efficient check-in and check-out process. You will also be responsible for ensuring guest and employee satisfaction and maximizing the financial performance of the department.
About the Role- Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring quality, standards, and meeting the expectations of customers on a daily basis.
- Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
- Handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiate with others.
- Supervise staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Solicit feedback from employees and guests to identify areas for improvement.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize room revenue and control property occupancy.
- High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
- OR
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; no work experience required.
