About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Network Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security operations team, you'll play a vital role in protecting our network and systems from potential threats. Your expertise will help ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
Key Responsibilities:
- SUPPORTING FIREWALLS: You'll be responsible for implementing, managing, and monitoring Firewalls, IPS, and Proxies in a major global organization.
- TCP/IP AND NETWORK SECURITY: With advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, NAT, HTTP, routing, firewalls, VLANs, and subnets, you'll identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND ITIL: You'll apply relevant concepts of ITIL and Project Management to ensure efficient project delivery and maintain high standards of service quality.
- CERTIFICATIONS AND CONTINUOUS LEARNING: We encourage continuous professional development, so you'll stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in the field.
- COLLABORATION AND COMMUNICATION: As a team player, you'll work closely with colleagues to achieve common goals, providing excellent communication and documentation skills.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of successful technical experience supporting Firewalls, IPS, and Proxies in a major global organization.
- Proven technical operational skills and capability to create and validate well-structured answers and solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; or recognition of prior working experience equivalent.
- Deep knowledge of Firewalls (Palo Alto or Fortinet, Bluecoat, Cisco ACS/ISE) and advanced working knowledge of TCP/IP, NAT, HTTP, routing, firewalls, VLANs, and subnets.
- Relevant concepts of ITIL and Project Management.
- Industry-accredited certification.
