Contract Negotiator

We are seeking a skilled Contract Negotiator to join our Global Sourcing team at Citi. The successful candidate will support the Personal Banking Wealth Management Group on various strategic sourcing initiatives and projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage a significant portfolio of projects and contracts, collaborating with business stakeholders, internal colleagues, and external suppliers to create or renew agreements.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of key contractual points, including termination for convenience rights, fees, payment terms, supplier billing terms, legal entity names, and addresses.
- Stay up-to-date with Third-Party Management and Compliance procedures (TP-RAP; RTR; MCIA) and utilize TP-RAP and Due Diligence Tools effectively.
- Apply expertise in eSourcing, GEP, CASP+, and P2P systems to drive procurement excellence.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the sourcing process for various products and services.
- Lead the sourcing process and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies, supplier management strategies, and contract negotiations, including drafting and red-lining contracts.
- Harness Citi tools and processes to research supplier and commodity information, as well as work with suppliers to measure and track performance and reporting/reconciliation requirements.
- Identify and implement value-added opportunities, such as savings and process improvements.
- Support the creation and execution of Request for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Quotes (RFQs).
- Coordinate the preparation and analysis of bid packages and eAuction events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's university degree complete/in progress.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Fluent English (verbal and written).
- Experience with Procurement and Accounts Payable (AP) systems.
- Experience with reporting and analytics.
- Ability to work independently and adapt priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with Contracts and eProcurement tools (e.g., Oracle, Procure-to-Pay, eAuction, eRFX).
- Experience with Risk and Controls preferred.
