Main Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Consultant to join our team at FreeBalance. As a key member of our implementation team, you will be responsible for:

  • Implementing and deploying FreeBalance solutions following our ISO 9001:2015 certified implementation methodology.
  • Managing customer expectations and advocating FreeBalance values and good practices.
  • Conducting detailed business requirements reviews with customers and preparing storyboards for approval and sign-off.
  • Configuring and demonstrating FreeBalance software to help demonstrate the mapping between the process to the solution.
  • Developing acceptance test plans and conducting acceptance testing of the configured FreeBalance software/system with the client.
  • Developing training material and delivering required product and user training courses, including 'Train the Trainer', to meet the client's needs.
  • Transferring knowledge to the client related to project management, change management and correct use of the FreeBalance solutions.
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of a project and managing scope, including meeting project schedules, tasks, and submitting quality deliverables on time.
  • Using effective leadership skills to complete all phases of projects from inception through to completion.
  • Providing input to product management on functional matters and future product requirements based on feedback from the client.
  • Reporting progress on all assigned activity and deliverables to the Project Manager.
  • Working with the Project Manager and team to achieve all milestones in a timely manner and on budget.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field such as Business Administration, Human Resources, or Financial Administration, with substantial experience in financial management.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing ERP software, with a strong understanding of its functionalities and capabilities.
  • Profound knowledge of public sector budgeting, accounting, payroll and human capital processes and procedures, including familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the implementation and deployment of software applications, with a focus on gathering and documenting requirements for software development and implementation projects.
  • Previous experience in software configuration of financial systems and HRIS, including customization and optimization of system functionalities to meet specific business needs.
  • Proven track record of effectively collaborating with clients, establishing positive and enduring relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload, and meet project deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish languages is essential, with fluency in both spoken and written communication. Proficiency in other languages is considered advantageous.
