FreeBalance is a renowned provider of innovative financial management solutions, and we are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our team as a Senior Financial Management Specialist in Costa Rica.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and deploying our solutions, adhering to our ISO 9001:2015 certified implementation methodology. Your primary goal will be to ensure seamless project execution, exceeding client expectations while upholding FreeBalance values and best practices.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement and deploy FreeBalance solutions according to our certified implementation methodology.
  • Manage customer expectations by advocating FreeBalance values and good practices.
  • Conduct detailed business requirements reviews with customers and create storyboards for approval and sign-off.
  • Configure and demonstrate FreeBalance software to showcase the mapping between processes and solutions.
  • Develop acceptance test plans and conduct testing of configured software/systems with clients.
  • Create training materials and deliver required product and user training courses, including 'Train the Trainer', tailored to client needs.
  • Transfer knowledge to clients on project management, change management, and correct usage of FreeBalance solutions.
  • Oversee daily project operations and manage scope, ensuring timely completion of tasks, meeting project schedules, and submitting quality deliverables.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership skills throughout all phases of projects from inception to completion.
  • Provide input to product management on functional matters and future product requirements based on client feedback.
  • Report progress on assigned activities and deliverables to the Project Manager.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field such as Business Administration, Human Resources, or Financial Administration, accompanied by substantial experience in financial management.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing ERP software, with a strong understanding of its functionalities and capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of public sector budgeting, accounting, payroll, and human capital processes and procedures, along with familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven expertise in the implementation and deployment of software applications, focusing on gathering and documenting requirements for software development and implementation projects.
  • Previous experience in configuring financial systems and HRIS, including customization and optimization of system functionalities to meet specific business needs.
  • A proven track record of effectively collaborating with clients, establishing positive and enduring relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical capabilities combined with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload, and meet project deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish languages is essential, with fluency in both spoken and written communication. Proficiency in other languages is considered advantageous.
