Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis and engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field.
- Proficiency in big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Spark & Kafka Streaming, Python, Scala, and Talend.
- Advanced SQL skills working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL), and familiarity with various databases.
- Experience building big data pipelines, architectures, and datasets.
- In-depth knowledge of database schema design for read and write performance.
- Familiarity with API or Stream-based data extraction processes like Salesforce API and Bulk API.
- Experience performing root cause analysis on data and processes to answer specific questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Build processes supporting data transformation, structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
- A successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large disconnected datasets.
- Familiarity with message queuing, stream processing, and scalable 'big data' stores.
- Familiarity with BI Tools like Tableau or Looker.
