**Job Overview**:

D.C. Global Talent Inc. is seeking a skilled Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of culinary trends, menu development, and staff leadership.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Menu Innovation: Develop and implement creative menus that cater to diverse tastes and reflect current culinary trends.
  • Kitchen Operations: Oversee all kitchen activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining high food quality standards.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Quality Control: Implement and monitor portion control and waste reduction practices, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Cost Management: Manage food and labor costs, develop budgets, and monitor financial performance to maximize profitability.
  • Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely procurement of high-quality ingredients.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with guests to gather feedback and ensure customer satisfaction, handling any kitchen-related customer issues promptly and professionally.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the kitchen complies with all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and maintaining proper documentation.

**Requirements:**

  • Education: Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a high-volume, high-quality kitchen environment.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Creativity: Strong culinary creativity with a passion for developing unique and exciting dishes.
  • Organization: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in kitchen management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
