About the Helpdesk Technician Role
We are seeking a skilled Helpdesk Technician to join our team in San Jose, Costa Rica. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving software and hardware issues related to voice, internet, or data installation and connection issues for various brands/products supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze technical issues using troubleshooting techniques.
- Resolving issues in a timely manner to meet customer expectations.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation as required.
- Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of telecommunications is a plus, with networking background/certs (CCNA modules or cert) also an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in helpdesk roles.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- English language proficiency (spoken and written) at 90% level.
