Job Description

The Account Specialist role is a hybrid position that combines sales, account management, and service responsibilities. As an Account Specialist, you will work in a team environment to manage, retain, and drive revenue growth within existing client relationships. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and support to our clients.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to identify and meet their evolving needs
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on Experian products and services
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve client issues and improve overall client satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Experian services to clients
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of previous customer-facing and sales experience
  • High school Diploma required
  • Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills, both verbal and written (English & Spanish)
  • A fast learner with the ability to learn new information about solutions and sales processes
  • A self-starter with drive to learn independently and in a structured environment
  • Comfortable operating within a teamed service and selling approach with energy and sense of ownership
  • A competitive nature and coachability
  • Good customer service and follow-up skills
  • Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Good knowledge of consumer credit reporting marketplace and willingness to learn more
