Job Summary: The Service Desk Lead plays a crucial role in driving customer satisfaction and ensuring the efficiency of our service desk operations. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of analysts, providing coaching and guidance to ensure they have the necessary tools and support to succeed.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of Service Desk Analysts;
  • Provide feedback to team members to improve their performance and customer satisfaction;
  • Help identify and implement improvements to the Service Desk incident logging system;
  • Work closely with the IT Service Desk, Engineering, and DT team members to resolve complex issues;
  • Research, resolve, and respond to complex questions received via escalations;
  • Manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly to meet deadlines;
  • Process disciplinary actions as required; and
  • Payroll report for the team assigned.

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing teams of 5+ related to the Service Desk industry;
  • Knowledge of IT frameworks, such as ITIL;
  • Advance knowledge of Active Directory, network-shared printers, and drives experiences;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Leadership courses and workshops are considered an asset;
  • High School Diploma; and
  • Proven ability to lead through change and adapt to new situations.
