Kyndryl Costa Rica, Sociedad De Responsabilidad Limitada is a dynamic organization seeking an experienced Cloud Software Engineering Lead to join our team.

This role will involve providing technical leadership on high-impact projects and customer escalations, as well as serving as the technical point of contact to sales and delivery teams to provide right solution recommendations and technical guidance.

The ideal candidate will have strong computer science fundamentals, with a focus on data structures, algorithms, and API design, as well as 10+ years of relevant work experience in software development.

Job Description:

The Cloud Software Engineering Lead will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing large-scale software and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software and solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects and customer escalations.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact to sales and delivery teams to provide right solution recommendations and technical guidance.
  • Participate in code reviews and can sign-off on large features.
  • Can sign off on test plans.
  • Influence and drive a distributed team of engineers across squads/tribes to continuously deliver highly scalable distributed software.
  • Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects and customer escalations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong computer science fundamentals, with a focus on data structures, algorithms, and API design.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in software development.
  • Hands-on technical leader, thought leader, coder of coders.
  • Depth in chosen field of specialization (full stack, front end, back end, performance, mainframe etc.) and known as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Ability to handle first-of-a-kind complexity - should be able to code up prototype or Proof of Concept (POC).
  • Understands the scope and relationship of large features and production stack for their area as well as dependencies between work products of different team members.
  • Ability to pull diverse technical approaches together to seamlessly integrate work products across team(s).
