As a Sr. Cost Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate costings, managing intercompany relationships, and providing financial expertise to drive business decisions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect data, prepare reports, and manage projects assigned.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Allocating costs, collecting data, and preparing reports to maintain the company's cost accounting system.
  • Ensuring costs are allocated according to established procedures.
  • Gathering historical cost data on activities such as material purchases, labor, equipment depreciation, repairs, assembly, operating expenses, etc.
  • Investigating cost structures for new and existing areas of the company.
  • Developing unit costs and projecting expenses for new services or products.
  • Preparing reports comparing budgets with actual expenses.
  • Maintaining profitability analyses and recommending revisions to the cost accounting system.
  • Assisting in the planning and organization of the external audit, including preparation of financial statements.
  • Supporting a high-performing finance team to meet its commitment to internal and external customers.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will possess advanced English language skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.

Additional requirements include:

  • Strong manufacturing Standard Costing experience, with the ability to roll, set, and forecast Standard Costs on the ERP system.
  • Good planning, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and meet due dates for tasks.
