About the Role:
The Global Sourcing Manager will lead a team of Managers and/or Buyers responsible for strategic and tactical purchasing activities for assigned manufacturing sites and divisions to ensure a high level of customer service, attainment of KPIs and culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure strategic and tactical purchasing activity is completed accurately, timely, and is aligned to support the supply plan and inventory targets.
- Provide input and influence development of KPIs, ensuring that KPIs are aligned with strategic objectives.
- Actively influence key stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment of expectations and performance.
- Foster a continuous improvement culture that delivers measurable results.
- Attract, retain and develop the best talent, set objectives and performance goals, optimize team structure to accomplish goals, and ensure employee engagement across the site.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Supply Chain Management/Engineering or similar field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, or related field, including at least 3 years in management roles.
- Knowledge of MRP-ERP business systems.
- Advanced MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
