Business Analyst Lead for Finance Transformation

This role plays a crucial part in Global Finance Transformation, supporting the development, testing, and implementation of technology to enhance finance process improvements.

The position reports to Finance Transformation Tower Leaders and is responsible for the successful enablement of key global initiatives, serving as a subject matter expert and providing proactive recommendations related to technology solutions.

Key Objectives:

  • Drive awareness of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through real-time data evaluation.
  • Serve as a thought leader for technical business processes, developing systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity.
  • Create and implement precise management plans for every project, ensuring transparent communication at all levels.
  • Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development.
  • Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, ensuring maximum usability.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders across business units to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, maintaining systems processes and delivering monthly status reports to all appropriate parties.
  • Author and update internal and external documentation, formally initiating and delivering requirements and documentation.
  • Produce process documentation, including process maps, flow diagrams, requirement specifications, functional designs, test scenarios, and business requirement documents.
  • Coordinate workshops to facilitate requirement gathering.
  • Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems.
  • Review and evaluate proposed solutions, making recommendations.
  • Organize and lead product demonstrations.
  • Break down and simplify complex problems and systems into smaller and more consumable components.
  • Actively participate in testing cycles and provide hands-on support to business testers.
  • Raise and manage JIRA tickets, identifying new tasks, defects, and change requests.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, finance, or computer science.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics and systems development, with proven analytical abilities.
  • Experience in generating process documentation and reports.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in Global Shared services, especially in Procurement to Pay departments.
  • Previous exposure to large-scale finance transformation projects.
  • Capability to work under pressure, with initiative-taking and initiative-taker skills.
  • Experience in managing 2-3 team members.
