Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer II to join our team at Boston Scientific. As a Quality Engineer II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
Responsibilities- Identify and investigate manufacturing process defects, including scrap, nonconforming material, and customer complaints.
- Work with process owners to understand corrective and preventative actions, and document release criteria.
- Review product specifications, quality specifications, and quality systems to ensure compliance.
- Monitor systems and processes to identify areas for improvement, and participate in product/process improvement efforts.
- Develop and implement quality tools and training materials to enhance sustaining product design and new product development.
- Support the execution and investigation of CAPAs, NCEPs, and failure mode investigations.
- Evaluate new equipment and processes, and participate in the transfer of new products.
- Assure that all laboratory equipment is in compliance with safety protocols.
- Work with Research and Development to qualify new components, and assist suppliers in creating statistical sampling plans and inspection methodologies.
- Develop and review process validation protocols and reports, and support other functional areas during validation activities.
- Provide leadership and direction to the Quality Techs team to ensure they are identifying issues, quarantining defective product, and efficiently moving product through the release process.
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, industrial, electronic, biotechnology, or electromechanical engineering, or a related field.
- English language proficiency at a B2 level (80-89%).
- Desired knowledge of ASQ certification (CQE, SSGB), formal studies in process and product validation, and thorough understanding of inspection techniques and statistical methods.
- Availability to work in shift B.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
