We are seeking a Programme Specialist - Social Impact Strategist to join our team in San Jose, Costa Rica. This role will involve developing and implementing projects and project proposals, coordinating with Headquarters to ensure alignment with organizational priorities, and providing advice and research expertise on social and human sciences initiatives.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in social and human sciences, law, philosophy, or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in international relations, project implementation, and fundraising. Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills are essential, as well as good coordination and interpersonal skills.
This is a fixed-term contract for 2 years, with an approximate annual salary of $92,270. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, family allowance, medical insurance, and pension plan.
In this role, you will work within the frameworks of UNESCO's Medium-Term Strategy, the approved Programme and Budget, and country and regional strategies, contributing to resource mobilization and knowledge sharing. You will also collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and expertise, promoting inclusive societies and ensuring the ethical development of emerging technologies.
