Job Title: Law Enforcement Professionalization Specialist

Location: San Jose, Costa Rica

About the Role

ATSG Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Law Enforcement Professionalization Specialist to join our team in San Jose, Costa Rica. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to our government partners on law enforcement professionalization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to law enforcement agencies on professionalization initiatives
  • Develop and implement training programs for law enforcement personnel
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of law enforcement agencies
  • Collaborate with international partners to share best practices and expertise
Requirements
  • U.S. citizen, TCN or LN
  • MRPT certification or RSO Clearance for foreign nationals
  • Bachelor's degree in international relations, law enforcement, public policy or ten (10) years of related professional law enforcement experience
  • FSI level 3/3 Spanish
  • FSI level 3/3 English
  • Experience briefing in Spanish and English
  • Fifteen (15) years' experience with U.S. or other country law enforcement or military, which must include:
  • Three (3) years working overseas in an Embassy environment; or,
  • Three (3) years specialized experience depending on the position (e.g. intelligence, firearms, gangs, kidnapping, drugs, internal affairs)
