Responsibilities:
- Develop high-performance relational databases for service delivery, transaction, and billing data
- Collaborate with development teams and DBAs on database services, data stores, stored procedures, and replication
- Manage security and data access methods to ensure services are properly controlled, monitored, and audited
- Develop maintenance and administration procedures for database systems using metrics for optimal performance
- Establish summarized and scalable data schema for historical reporting and near-real-time data feeds
- Create scripts for data management and system administration
- Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to scale data infrastructure for future growth
- Investigate performance anomalies and perform root cause analysis for databases and interfaces
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of data relationships, normalization, and summarization
- Experience in SSIS or similar ETL tools
- Demonstrated knowledge in data warehousing, scalability, server clustering, replication, service brokerage, and HA/DR
- In-depth knowledge of Transact-SQL and XML required, experience in C# preferred
- Proven ability to manage projects through their entire software development life cycle
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Must be flexible and willing to support a 24x7 environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Multitasking and system administration skills
- Knowledge of contact centers is a plus
