We are looking for a skilled Communications Specialist to join our team in Heredia, Costa Rica. As a key member of our Business Development department, you will play a crucial role in creating, designing, editing, adapting, and producing digital content in various formats to engage our employees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Create and produce high-quality digital content (HTML, video, animations, executive presentations, blogs, newsletters, and more) to be shared through all available internal and external communication channels.
- Support the coordination of corporate events, including town halls, stakeholder visits, local celebrations, focusing on logistics to guarantee the event runs smoothly without disruptions.
- Assist the Communication Manager in delivering the Global Business Services (GBS) communication strategy, ensuring effective communications of various projects and initiatives developed under the Your Voice umbrella.
- Provide counsel on new communications platforms, trends, and formats to explore that improves the effectiveness of the delivery of the GBS communication strategy.
- Actively seek ways to optimize the impact of internal campaigns by adopting and implementing best practices inspired from industry trends, competitor data, and other sources.
- Drive effective and transparent communications and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop creative campaigns to enhance employee engagement on BAT's Ethos, together with the Leadership team.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in multinational corporations, exposure to multicultural teams, and matrix structures, creating different versions of content for a range of social/digital channels.
- Proven experience coordinating corporate events (face-to-face, online, and hybrid), event design, negotiating best offers with external vendors, and supervising the proper delivery and execution of the event.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, especially in producing content using Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
- Project Management mindset: able to own and be accountable for the accomplishment of projects on time, without disruptions, and as planned.
- Excellent communication skills and motivation to share information in a way that engages employees.
- Analytical and quantitative analysis skills: capacity to transform complex information into clear messages; ability to explain technical matters in a clear and brief manner.
