Job Summary

Auxis is a fast-growing business process outsourcing provider that offers support to one of its largest accounts and leading providers of healthcare services. This provider serves 959 hospitals and 2979 physician practices with over 50 million patient encounters annually.

The position performs various senior and mid-level accounting tasks on a daily and monthly basis, including processing journal entries, supporting the month-end close, key account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and supporting the reporting package.

The following is a high-level overview of the activities to be performed for this function:

**Responsibilities:**

  • Journal Entry Processing
  • Preparation of accruals in GL
  • Chart of Account maintenance
  • Bank & General Ledger reconciliations
  • Systems/Modules reconciliations (i.e., ERP)
  • Fixed Asset administration
  • Daily batch upload to ERP systems
  • Intercompany processing
  • Monitor cash balance with company bank accounts
  • Analyze data and take action when out of balance conditions occur

In addition, the Financial Analyst supports the Senior Accountants in gathering data and reporting on the department's processing metrics, including determining relevant statistical data to measure. This position requires a mid-level of communication to internal and external customers, proposals to management for process improvement solutions, and ad-hoc report development for special projects.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • English - Spanish Language Oral and writing (B2 or above)
  • 3 years experience working in general accounting area
  • Accounting principles knowledge
  • Experience performing reconciliations
  • Experience in preparing JEs and month supporting documentation
  • Ability to meet month end close requirements
  • Technical Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel)
