Objective:
The role involves sourcing and acquiring essential services and materials, negotiating agreements, overseeing supplier partnerships, and pinpointing opportunities for cost reduction. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including IT, operations, and finance, to ensure that procurement strategies are in line with the organization’s objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the discovery and preparation of RFP/RFI/RFQ as necessary, utilizing the approved procurement toolkit and processes.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to grasp business needs and uncover cost-saving opportunities.
- Perform market analysis and supplier evaluations to identify potential vendors and assess their capabilities.
- Assist in executing procurement strategies that enhance the cost, quality, and delivery of products and services.
- Facilitate the procurement process for goods and services, including vendor selection, price negotiations, and contract management to secure optimal value for the organization.
- Monitor and manage supplier relationships and performance, implementing corrective measures as required.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
- Track market trends and conduct supplier research to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Vendor Management team to ensure supply continuity and risk management of strategic contracts, ensuring that delivery aligns with the objectives and deliverables outlined in the contract schedules.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in English.
- Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities.
- Background in Marketing, Advertising, or Media is essential.
- Solid financial analytical skills and a good grasp of contract law.
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement, demonstrating a successful track record in strategic sourcing and supplier management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of regulations and legislation relevant to the markets involved.
- Proven capacity to analyze data and make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Capability to work efficiently in both team and remote settings.
- A reliable team player with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in alignment with organizational strategy.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with SAP and Ariba is advantageous.
