About the RoleThis is an Edge role, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office. As a Compute Expert Level professional, your primary responsibility will be to support customers with their computing needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance to customers in relevant technologies and environments.
- Develop and implement solutions for customers' computing requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- First-level university degree: technical or non-technical (Bachelor of Arts/Science).
- Typically 3-4 year completion beyond High School level, BA/BS or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years' experience in relevant technologies and customer environments.
- Relevant industry qualification where applicable.
- Sys Admin Experience.
- Advanced knowledge of servers and administration tools.
- Good knowledge of Linux and Windows.
- Knowledge of VMware (Server virtualization, VCenter).
- Linux scripting experience.
- Advanced Software and hardware knowledge of computing, storage, and peripheral devices.
- Good knowledge of cloud computing (AZURE, AWS).
- Experience with Patch Management Process.
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, WSUS.
