About the Role

The Business Development Manager role presents a unique opportunity to showcase relationship and portfolio leadership skills in a territory.

This position focuses on post-sales of medium-to-large-sized businesses, deepening relationships with restaurant partners to increase retention and drive business growth with mutually beneficial outcomes.

Business Development Managers play a crucial role in retaining high-value accounts, ensuring partners' success on the platform, and exploiting opportunities to improve business metrics for restaurants and Uber Eats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead post-deal partner management for a high-value and high-potential portfolio of restaurant partners.
  • Own partner relationships to yield tangible metrics outcomes.
  • Achieve revenue growth targets for partners, upsell new product features, and ensure high retention by driving mutual business value.
  • Be the voice of the customer to internal stakeholders - translate their needs and advocate on their behalf.
  • Understand the stakeholder landscape and ensure positive relationships throughout restaurant partner organizations.
  • Conceive, design, and lead growth initiatives with restaurant partners and drive them through to completion, working cross-functionally with Uber's internal teams and restaurant partners.
  • Set, track, and report on performance metrics of restaurant partners, run monthly/quarterly business reviews.
