The Senior Event Operations Specialist works closely with internal vendors and key stakeholders to facilitate and support Amazon events taking place in key buildings within Amazon corporate offices. This role responds to customer requests and inquiries to ensure on-site events are executed smoothly and professionally.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate resources to ensure spaces are cleaned, set, and ready for events
  • Document trends, recognize opportunities for process efficiencies, and improve policies and procedures related to internal events and spaces
  • Schedule, maintain, and update calendar appointments to improve time management and coordination/communication with vendor partners supporting the eventspaces
  • Review, update, schedule, and approve event requests received from Amazon eventplanners
  • Provide initial response and support related to Amazon eventinquiries
  • Assign events to regional Program Coordinators as appropriate
  • Daily coordination and organization of events
  • Create and update documents to track metrics, clarify procedures, provide information, organize team tasks, and others as needed
  • Provide remote event support
  • Process work orders and event-related troubletickets
  • Support and maintain good inter-vendor communications between Facilities, Catering, AV, Reception, Janitorial, and Engineering as requested

**Requirements:**
2+ years' experience in event coordination or administrative support; 2+ years' experience in facilities management is a plus.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
High level of accuracy and attention to details.
Positive, professional, customer-service oriented personality.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, at times, with little direction.
