Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Billing Specialist with strong analytical skills and excellent interpersonal abilities to improve organizational efficiency and contribute to our team's growth.

This role will involve assisting and communicating with customers on collections, credits, and related license subscription inquiries to resolve billing and account-related issues.

You'll work closely with Legal, Finance, and Support teams to structure sales quotes and order forms for accurate and complete processing per executed contract terms.

Responsibilities:

  • Process customer orders and invoices in accordance with Contract and Order Form terms.
  • Investigate and prepare customer credits or bad debt write-offs.
  • Pull, review, and analyze data related to customer accounts, billing information, and purchase contracts.
  • Set up and register customer accounts with 3rd party payment portals like Ariba.
  • Assist in providing support documentation for audits.
  • Collaborate with the data team to ensure proper reporting of billing and revenue data.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to our data collection and reporting methodologies in the billing system.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (Sales, Support, Finance, and Legal) to resolve billing and ordering issues.
  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong customer service, Excel, and analytical skills.
  • NetSuite and/or Salesforce experience is a plus.
