Role Summary
The Audit Manager will have primary responsibility for leading teams of auditors conducting independent audit, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and risk oversight activities at Pfizer locations worldwide. This includes supervising execution of audits, SOX and other reviews of business, functional, operational processes performed by audit teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex on-site independent evaluations of Pfizer's financial and compliance control processes worldwide to ensure Pfizer's risks are properly managed.
- Use advanced analytics to identify and investigate risk or key performance indicators in business processes.
- Supervise the performance of sample-based testing to identify control deficiencies, exceptions or other red flags requiring further investigation or remediation.
- Execute escalation protocols and Pfizer internal reporting processes according to the nature of issues identified.
Requirements:
- Advanced communication skills to clearly and proactively communicate with key stakeholders including Corporate Audit Management, Compliance Division, Business Unit Management as well as external audit.
- Business acumen and knowledge of the business to influence others directly and indirectly to achieve results.
