Financial Operations Specialist

At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our Record to Report department. This role will play a crucial part in processing financial activities, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining high-quality results. Key responsibilities include processing accounts payable intercompany invoices, manual journal entries, and generating routine reports. This role will also involve analyzing invoice information, resolving discrepancies, and identifying root causes to prevent similar issues. Additional responsibilities include supporting audit processes and maintaining compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. A high school degree or equivalent, 3 years of experience in similar positions, and proficiency in MS Office and ERPs are required.

Key Requirements
- Technical high school degree or College Bachelor student related with the position.
- 3 years of experience in similar positions.
- Shared Service Centers experience.
- B2 English Level.
- MS Office: Word, Power Point, Outlook - Excel intermediate.
- ERPs experience (Oracle, SAP, JDEdwards, Mainframe).
- Experience in Backline or Hyperion (plus).
- Experience in bank platforms (plus).
