Key Responsibilities
As the Operations Training Manager, you will:

  • Assess the regulatory training and certification requirements for all positions within the plant, ensuring compliance with the established Quality Manual.
  • Oversee and guide the Training Coordinators across each CS Value Stream, facilitating the development, coordination, and execution of training programs to maintain standardization and process effectiveness.
  • Engage actively in the onboarding process for new hires, delivering essential regulatory training during their induction.
  • Select and implement the most suitable training methodologies for adult learners, including simulations, mentoring, and classroom instruction.
  • Stay informed about educational principles and emerging training techniques to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Design and produce educational materials and aids to support training initiatives.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and its impact on employee skills and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain training facilities and equipment to ensure a conducive learning environment.
  • Ensure all Training Coordinators receive and document necessary training prior to undertaking their responsibilities.
  • Organize train-the-trainer sessions for Training Coordinators and other staff as required.
  • Track and manage documentation related to certifications.
  • Collaborate with the quality supervisor and DCC for effective priority management and documentation assistance.
  • Provide coaching and support to Training Coordinators and Trainers, fostering high performance, engagement, and motivation. Manage all responsibilities related to team development, hiring, performance evaluation, and compensation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A university degree in Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Training Systems within the Medical Industry.
  • At least 4 years of formal supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership skills to coordinate efforts across multiple areas.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including FDA and ISO standards.
  • The ability to comprehend complex technical materials such as drawings, SOPs, and manuals.
  • A problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in both Spanish and English.
  • Demonstrated expertise in effective adult education and training methodologies.
  • Advanced organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks while focusing on objectives.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
