Responsibilities:
- Conducting company and sector analysis, including researching industry trends and macro-economic data
- Providing information packs to clients, comprising company filings, broker research, news runs, and other specified information
- Filtering relevant news related to M&A, management, and material company announcements using Google or third-party paid sources
- Sourcing market data, such as share prices, currency rates, and ratios from multiple third-party data sources
- Researching technical publications, regulatory frameworks, and analytical research
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a similar major
- Oral and written knowledge of English at a fluid level
- 0-2 years of experience in consulting or research preferred, but not a requirement
- Background in Corporate Finance or Venture Capital (not a requirement but preferred)
- Good quantitative background, as they will be managing large data sets, leveraging Capital IQ and other Private Equity Sources
- Strong with numbers as they will be sourcing ratios, valuation, growth, and multiples
- Experience in consulting or research is preferable, but not a requirement
- Great understanding of financial concepts
- Adept at Web-based search
- Well-developed communications skills; written and oral fluency in English
- Solid problem-solving orientation, ability to work in a fast-paced, team and customer-oriented environment
- Advanced level knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Should be comfortable working with strict SLAs
- Ability to prioritize and sensitive to client needs
- Ability to manage customer/stakeholder expectations
- Self-motivated and a quick learner
- Good team player
- High attention to detail
