Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SAFe Scrum Master to join our team in Costa Rica. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate up to three agile teams, ensuring all activities align with SAFe principles.
  • Evaluate current team state, including backlog status, predictability, flow, capacity, cross-training needs, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and implement training programs to improve team performance, focusing on ADO, Scrum, Scrumban, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks.
  • Maintain tracking for team ways of working improvements, education, and cross-training needs.
  • Ensure stakeholders are present in key meetings for progress and demo validation.
  • Present PI Planning and track progression via goal milestones, metric achievements, and progress toward steps for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience planning and managing enterprise projects.
  • Working experience with IT teams in a multi-team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, leadership competencies, and emotional intelligence.
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment or familiarity with Agile/Scrum/ScrumBan/Kanban/SAFe methodologies.
  • Strong Azure DevOps knowledge, Jira Align knowledge, and infrastructure and product-centric teams understanding.
  • Technical documentation abilities and working knowledge of Agile Project Management Tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Scrum Master certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
