Position Overview

Primary Responsibilities:

Financial Management

Collaborate with the Americas Finance teams (Accounts Payable, GAMA, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Travel & Expenses, Compliance, and Procurement) to execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring timely and precise account closures in line with the established month-end close checklist. Evaluate and communicate a consolidated review of profit and loss statements and balance sheets, ensuring the financial integrity of the affiliate's financial reports. Oversee all Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) documentation and internal control issues, acting as the primary owner for the ICFR tools – INVOLVE and BWISE. Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, following up on outstanding items and addressing any discrepancies identified. Accurately submit various reporting packages within designated timelines, including Sustainability and Insurance reports. Manage IFRS 16 Leasing matters using SimSol/Planon. Review and authorize all manual journal entries prepared by the Americas finance team. Oversee all aspects of management accounting, including period cost allocation, COPA allocation, and SSC allocation.

Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Management:

Oversee multiple facets of Accounts Receivable, including the review and approval of manual billings, assessment of debtor aging, and determination of follow-up actions to ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales-related activities. Manage various aspects of Accounts Payable, including the review and approval of vendor invoices and payment processes. Ensure the financial accuracy of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable balances, including all accruals.

Treasury Functions:

Manage cash flow by forecasting current and future cash requirements and arranging necessary fund transfers as needed. Oversee all treasury-related matters, including foreign exchange deals, credit facilities, payment requests, and banking operations.

Master Data Management:

Administer master data management, including the Chart of Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Work Breakdown Structures, vendor and customer master data, and UCI.

Additional Responsibilities:

Prepare audit-related schedules and documentation, including coordination with auditors. Participate in compliance audits and respond to audit inquiries. Identify, recommend, and implement solutions in collaboration with management and financial compliance to drive continuous improvement in operational areas. Serve as the primary contact for financial reporting matters.
