Patient Support Specialist II

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Support Specialist II to join our team at Abbvie. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient support services.
Job DescriptionThe Patient Support Specialist II will be responsible for investigating and resolving escalated patient issues, such as access challenges or non-preferred formulary issues. They will learn and execute business process and system changes, accurately communicate insurance details to healthcare providers and patients, and identify potential Adverse Events.
This role requires strong technical skills and attention to detail, as well as organizational and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of work experience in a healthcare/reimbursement setting or call center environment, and proven leadership skills and professional written, verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and resolve escalated patient issues

- High school diploma or GED equivalent

The estimated salary for this role is between $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
