The Business Analyst serves as a pivotal technical resource for all matters related to business process enhancement. This role is essential in managing the due diligence aspects of driving business process improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous enhancement across the organization while staying informed about the latest industry and software technology trends.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

  • Spearhead the identification, refinement, and execution of business processes and procedures to meet organizational goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses to uncover opportunities for business process enhancements, efficiency improvements, and cost savings.
  • Advocate for continuous business process enhancement, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement change.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations, customer expectations, and company standards in all process enhancement activities.
  • Collaborate with other process engineers to seamlessly integrate new and existing business processes.
  • Act as the primary liaison between end-users and IT developers during the execution of automation and enhancement projects.
  • Facilitate the design, development, and deployment of solutions that align with business requirements within specified time, cost, and quality parameters.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the organization.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field.
  • 7 years of experience in:
    • Business process enhancement/automation and IT project management within an operational setting.
    • Demonstrated success in leading and executing effective process improvement or large-scale software implementation initiatives.
    • Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Value Stream Mapping.
    • Knowledge of relational databases and collaboration software.
    • Experience in analyzing and managing large volumes of data using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
    • Understanding of standard enterprise and operations software like MRP, DRP, PDM, CRM, etc.
    • Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
    • This role may require occasional travel and participation in off-hour meetings or calls with global stakeholders.
