As a key member of our Accounting Team at Equifax, the expense accountant will oversee the company's accounting for its expenditures, manage the capital asset and intercompany accounting processes, and lead the Treasury function.
Key Responsibilities:
• Revenue accounting for Equifax Canada, in compliance with US accounting regulations and US GAAP standards
• Management of the accounting for revenue-generating projects, including preparation of month-end reports, commentaries, and variance analysis for senior management
• Management of quarterly sales contract review process and input into customer opportunities
• Support the FP&A team in forecasting and budgeting, quarterly contract reviews of material contracts, and oversee the rebate and royalties process
• Assessment of accounting treatments for different revenue topics, such as recognitions, rebates, and discounts
• Bad debts analysis and follow-up
• Revenue analysis
Requirements:
• English proficiency (B2 level)
• University degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of accounting experience in shared services
• 2+ years of experience with Excel or Google Sheets
• 2+ years of experience working with Oracle Financials or similar ERP system
What sets you apart:
• Experience with Tableau, Hyperion HFM
• Experience in improving Accounting processes
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
