About the Role

The Senior Manager-Financial Planning position is a critical role within Moody's Analytics, responsible for driving financial planning and analysis across various business units.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial projections.
  • Analyze month-end accruals, expenses, and variance analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive compensation modeling and approvals.
  • Support purchase acquisition approvals for non-compensation spend.
  • Provide PnL reporting and variance analysis for Consulting Services and Analytical Services business units.
  • Conduct SaaS PnL analysis and support quarterly ARR analysis and annual investment prioritization for Product Org.
  • Participate in UAT process as part of RMS integration into MA systems.
  • Support corporate FP&A related tasks as needed.
  • Prepare investor-relations and board materials.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to build relationships and establish credibility with diverse audiences.
  • Able to translate financial results and analysis into relevant, impactful narratives.
  • Independent worker with cross-functional orientation, able to multi-task and comfortable in a fast-paced, high growth, dynamic setting.
  • Prior top-line and OPEX experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field with 8+ years FP&A experience in Software/SaaS industry.
  • Technical skills in Hyperion Essbase, Salesforce, Adaptive, OneStream, Excel, and database management.
