Full Stack Automation Engineer for Data-Driven Operations

About the Role

Databricks is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Stack Automation Engineer to join our Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Operations team. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in building Learning & Enablement strategy, providing strategic analyses, and driving a data-driven decision-making approach to our successful and fast-growing Learning business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full E2E service automations for all Operational processes, data analytics, reporting, and dashboards to help operations elevate value and contribution.
  • Support essential aspects of annual training operations strategies and objectives.
  • Owning key pillars of the strategic framework for Operations, including Technology Optimization, Processes/Services optimization, and automation.
  • Drive key objectives such as productivity targets and hard savings expectations to contribute to revenue margins and operations costs.

The Impact You Will Have

  • Contribute to build a strong E2E service organization based on automated processes, live dashboards, and on-time visibility.
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement, automations, and challenge observation from different perspectives to elevate global business value.
  • Automate all E2E operational services, seeking ~60% automation in all processes.
  • Drive operations to have 'at a click' visibility of all steps in the process.
  • Create a strategic technology framework that leverages all capabilities of people and technology to drive E2E transformation in operations.
  • Define the path of proper technical investments to support operations team elevation.
  • Be a trusted partner to stakeholders inside and outside Strategy & Operations to connect dots and impact the bigger picture of the training business revenue and service delivery.

  • Ability and passion to lead global automation initiatives, optimize services, analyze data, create dashboards, set priorities, and solve complex problems dynamically.
  • Propensity to establish challenging goals when it comes to automating services and dashboard visualization for E2E metrics of Operational processes.
  • Data expert: Querying and scoping (SQL), analysis (Excel), summarizing (pivot tables, charts, slides, written explanation), reporting (dashboards).
  • Rigor and attention to details to drive accurate data analysis, business understanding, and on-time execution.
  • Passion for working collaboratively across stakeholders from different organizational levels.
  • Customer service, patience, and humility in a fast-paced growth business.
  • Natural desire to be ahead of the curve, proactive identifier of possible challenges, etc.
