Role Overview

We are seeking a Google Tag Management Expert to oversee the establishment, ongoing governance, and enhancement of our GTM instance. This position demands extensive expertise in GTM and a proven history of implementing and managing GTM for various B2B organizations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive configuration and administration expert, eager to engage with tools and processes across the entire digital ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, manage, and troubleshoot Google Tag Manager.
  • Implement tracking tags via GTM across diverse digital platforms.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure optimal GTM functionality.
  • Provide consistent updates and reports regarding GTM performance.
  • Ensure compliance of all GTM activities with data privacy regulations.
  • Develop innovative solutions for complex tracking and tagging needs based on evolving business requirements.
  • Perform quality assurance on implemented solutions.
  • Guarantee accurate and efficient implementation of pixel and tag modifications.
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure precise data collection and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising during implementations or releases.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation accessible to relevant teams.
  • Effectively communicate with partners regarding releases, updates, and changes.

Essential Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with Google Tag Manager, including setup, management, and troubleshooting (with custom Javascript).
  • At least 3 years of experience in Google Analytics, with hands-on experience in GA4.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing tracking tags using GTM.
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing, web analytics, and data privacy regulations.
  • Exceptional time-management skills, attention to detail, and high standards for project delivery.
  • Self-motivated with a strong interest in solving unstructured data challenges and optimizing large data sets.
  • Process-oriented, highly organized, adept at multitasking, with strong documentation, coordination, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical team members.
  • Confidence in providing consultation to business partners and team members within Sales, Partner, and Marketing Operations.
  • Familiarity with AGILE/SCRUM process management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
