About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Financial Institutions Group. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day mentorship and direction to our team members, ensuring that they have the tools and support they need to deliver high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor and guide team members to achieve their full potential
  • Train new joiners and seek improvement in training plans
  • Quality check team members' work to ensure it meets agreed standards
  • Assist the team Manager with monthly reporting and other projects
  • Lead initiatives to improve processes and work assignments
  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve existing process efficiencies
  • Document new and revised processes
  • Contribute to tasks performed by the team to meet task completion targets

Requirements

  • Minimum undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Accounting)
  • Meaningful work experience, including in a team leader or manager role
  • Knowledge or expertise in financial institutions (Banks, Insurance companies, Asset managers) and debt capital markets desired
  • Ability to actively manage a team and maintain the highest efficiency and engagement
  • Demonstrates solid understanding of MS programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proven verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, with ability to adapt to a changing environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
