Job Summary
We're seeking a detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end process of Quotations, Purchase Orders, and Work Orders. This individual will be responsible for ensuring quality and accuracy, exceeding customer expectations, and providing prompt and professional responses to inquiries.
Main Responsibilities:
- Foster expertise in executing low and medium complexity technical projects from start to finish.
- Process orders, quotations, and inquiries efficiently, including clarifying requirements, communication, order/write-up, and expediting orders according to established policies and procedures.
- Communicate drawing and shipping schedules with customers/builders after they're established.
- Verify pricing reflects the scope of work defined on Purchase Orders.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer, builder, and district sales manager inquiries.
- Analyze and discuss potential Change Orders' cost and scheduling impact with customers/builders, notifying other departments as needed.
- Price and process Change Orders to meet customer expectations while maintaining/making margins.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Continuously improve knowledge of Cornerstone Building Brands products and procedures, as well as reading and interpreting architectural plans and specifications.
- Partner effectively with personnel in other departments to provide required service levels.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, manufacturing/construction/metal building industries, with a focus on quotations, purchase orders, and work orders.
- In-depth understanding of general construction fundamentals and engineering principles.
- Able to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications accurately.
- Experience owning and executing low-level complexity technical projects, with some experience in high-level complexity projects.
- Advanced proficiency in English (B1 or above).
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for internal and external interactions.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum
