Come be part of a Data Assurance team that leads investigations of data loads and adopted models/processes that bring measurable quality improvement and maintenance to the Experian BIS Commercial Data Repository.
Data Assurance's goal is to assess and improve business data maintenance processes through the adoption of machine-learning, big data, and other advanced analytical techniques.
You'll take on a position of discovery in the team by establishing expertise in one or more functional areas of the data repository related to commercial financial services.
What you will do:
- Audit and analyze the outputs of a variety of existing models and data sources for accuracy
- Discover pattern identification to conduct root cause analysis of errors or deficiencies
- Make recommendations and assist in implementing corrections to discovered issues
- Collaborate with other business teams, including technology partners
- Write documentation of model performance and features, and present the results
- Maintain continuous learning of new technologies and data science related topics
**Qualifications**:
**Qualifications**
We would like you to have:
- Minimum of 1+ years of working experience in data quality assessment, demonstrating strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business or other quantitative fields
- Proven experience working with internal teams to assess and improve data quality issues
- Ability to independently assess existing data, innovate new solutions, and document findings for review
It would be fantastic if you also have:
- Experience with creation of data analytics or metrics
- Experience using Python, PySpark, and other relates technologies
- SQL skills and experience with Extraction, Transform, and Load (ETL) tools beneficial
- Experience in Agile methodologies
AWS cloud platform training and/or experience
