**Cash Application Specialist II (Deduction)**

Today, we provide a cloud-based platform for work execution, empowering organizations to plan, capture, track, automate, and report on work at scale, resulting in more efficient processes and better outcomes.
**You Will**:
- Ensure daily cash receipts are applied to customer accounts accurately and timely.
- Process and post customer payments, including lockbox feeds, ACH, Wires, and Bank Deposits.
- Research credit card chargebacks, stop payments, and customer refunds when applicable.
- Perform foreign currency conversions.
- Prepare journal entries and adjustments to Accounts Receivable.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations to balance and close cash batches.
- Report on Daily Cash Activities to the FinOps team and the Director of FinOps.
- Assist with month-end closing tasks.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
**Primary Focus**:
- Identify payment deductions, tax withholdings, or shortages and escalate as appropriate.
- Research, resolve and dispute payment deductions.
- Process adjustments, and accurately match credits to outstanding shortages.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external clients to resolve payment discrepancies.
- Report on payment deductions.
**You Have**:
- Understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Knowledge of bank reconciliations, deduction management, and foreign currency is a plus.
- Google suite and Microsoft Excel proficiency.
Knowledge of VLOOKUP, and SUMIF is a plus.
- Prior NetSuite, Celigo, and Deduction Management software experience is preferred.
- Strong time management skills.
- A positive approach and willingness to learn coupled with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities and handle tasks under pressure.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associates/Bachelor's degree preferred
