Job Purpose
Under general direction log and enter orders into our business systems.
Also responsible for reviewing the
customer's purchase order, ensuring all critical information is complete and accurate.
Initiate
communications with Order Management/Inside Sales Engineer and External Customers when an order is
missing information or no bookable.
Work on standard complexity related to products & processes.
Is
**Responsibilities**:
The Order Manager I essential functions are as follows:
Order Entry
- Enter orders into Oracle, following the audit guidelines/PO Clean Up Matrix (unclean, expedite, HTA,
Goodwill, Donation, Trial, FOB, Credit card orders.
- Verify CRD If necessary.
- Locate and evaluate price discrepancies between the PO, Quote and Oracle.
- Determine if there are any additional order specifications within OneNote or the customer's Buying
Agreement.
- Verify that discounting and price list are correct.
- Coordinate expedite orders with planning team and customer.
- Complete order entry within Service Level.
- Enter and book all orders from the 02 List by the end of each day if possible, to ensure orders are
flowing effectively.
- Provide Order Form for confirmation without PO.
- Confirm End-User information with Sales or Customer.
- Input CDS Data.
Order Clean Up
- Communicate identified issues with customer to get a revised PO or customer confirmation if
necessary.
- Track active tasks on assigned orders (unclean tasks, scheduling tasks, etc).
- Follow up on orders on the 03 list within recommended time frame.
- Collaborate with Outside Sales Team at the appropriate time to gain traction, or cancellation approval.
- Submit ETO release tasks.
- Resolve Failed Audit.
