Compensation & Benefits Manager

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Manages annual salary and performance bonus for LATAM
- Review and validate salary adjustments and payroll cycle
- Establish payment grades and ensure internal equity considering market analysis
- Calibrate salaries and job levels within the company
- Fully understand on laws and regulations regarding compensation for LATAM
- Responsible to implement compensation systems such as bonuses, merit raises, and payfor-performance plans
- Generate employee offers and advise employees on regulations
- Advise on salary increase requests
- Manage benefits vendors
- Manage commissions and bonuses for salesforce
- Responsible for maintaining procedures and policies updated regarding compensation (i.e.
car allowance, employee relocations)
- Prepare occupational classifications and salary scales
- Ongoing analysis of market compensation and benefits, propose and improve employee retention
**Qualifications**
- Education: Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA is a must
- Strong written English and Spanish skills.
- Very strong understanding of payroll process and calculations
- Proactive and high negotiation skills, able to manage and implement new benefits
- At least 8 years of experience handling Compensation for Costa Rica
- Fully understanding of deductions and regulations for the LAM region
- Experience in Shared Services managing compensation and benefits - Advanced Microsoft Excel level
- Highly analytical and proactive
- Excellent customer service and problem solving
- Works well under pressure
